Brenda Vogley
Senior Consultant
Brenda Vogley from our team has been added to the Ohio State Apprenticeship Council as an Advisory Member. Vogley brings depth of experience to her role on the Council. She has served as a project manager for several projects funded by the Ohio Department of Higher Education and the U.S. Department of Labor.
The Council is charged with advising the Office of Workforce Development (OWD) on policies and procedures for Ohio’s Registered Apprenticeship system. The focus is to ensure the system adequately serves Ohio businesses that choose to incorporate the Registered Apprenticeship model to meet their workforce needs.
An experienced project and program manager, Vogley has extensive expertise related to sector and community partnerships, registered apprenticeship and work-based learning, industry-led career pathways development, strategic planning, and workforce coordination strategy. She gained experience in local business services delivery via the Business Resource Network expansion project, an innovative approach to business outreach that facilitated greater connectivity between workforce, economic development, and education agencies. Collectively, these experiences have provided knowledge of best practices in workforce-related issues, local, state and federal workforce systems, and WIOA.
Vogley’s background in higher education includes curriculum and program design, including specialized training in program development which she aligned with employer needs.
“We are proud to have Brenda added to Ohio’s Apprenticeship Council,” says Thomas Miller, President and CEO of TPMA. “Her wealth of experience, including evaluating curriculum and training programs and assessment of learning outcomes, brings a great deal of value to the Council.”
